21: Managing Change is Everybody’s Responsibility
In this episode, Dr Yong explains why change management is the responsibility of everyone in the organisation. In an era where change is more likely to be continuous and fluid in form, it is difficult to to “manage” every aspect of the change in a structured way, which is more the traditional notion of change management. Therefore the whole process of influencing, persuading, communicating, cajoling, role-modelling, co-creation, empathising needs to be embedded into the touchpoints between employees, leaders, middle managers, change champions and the project team undertaking the change.
